WEDNESDAY, 8TH SEPTEMBER

Arrive, Unwind and Discover Historic Tewkesbury

Our meeting begins at the elegant Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel, ideally situated just off Junction 1 of the M50.
Set within 140 acres of private grounds on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds, this country hotel provides the perfect base for our gathering. Facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, croque lawn and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Dedicated parking for our cars will be conveniently located close to the hotel entrance and reception, making arrival with your cherished Healey easy and straightforward.

Once checked in, the celebrations begin! Join fellow members for a welcome drink before settling down to our opening dinner in the hotel's Limes Suite. It's the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet new faces and start looking forward to the adventures ahead.

A little local history before dinner?

If time permits, a visit to the magnificent Tewkesbury Abbey is highly recommended. Just a short drive (10 minutes) from the hotel, this remarkable building dates largely from the early 12th century and has witnessed centuries of English history.

During the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1540, the townspeople purchased the Abbey from the Crown for £453, saving it from destruction. Today, its extraordinary Norman architecture makes it one of the area's most impressive historic landmarks.

A wonderful introduction to the heritage and character of our host town!

THURSDAY, 9TH SEPTEMBER

Berkeley Castle: A Day of History, Discovery and Exclusive Experiences

Prepare for a fascinating day exploring the history and heritage of the charming town of Berkeley, a 40-minute drive away with some very special arrangements exclusively for our group.

An Exclusive Welcome at Berkeley Castle

Our first destination is magnificent Berkeley Castle, where we'll enjoy an exclusive visit to this extraordinary historic home.

In a particularly special touch, we'll be able to park our Healy's within the castle courtyard, creating a fantastic backdrop for photographs and a wonderful opportunity to capture our cars in this historic setting.

As we explore the castle's rooms, we'll enjoy informative talks bringing its long and fascinating history to life. Lunch will be served in the impressive Great Hall, allowing us to experience the atmosphere of this remarkable building at leisure.

Film enthusiasts may also recognise the castle and its Great Hall from the BBC's adaptation of Wolf Hall.

It's a rare opportunity to combine our love of classic motoring with an exclusive visit to one of England's most fascinating historic properties.

Discover the Legacy of Dr Edward Jenner

Just a short walk from the castle brings us to Dr Jenner's House, Museum and Garden, the former home of Edward Jenner, whose pioneering work laid the foundations of vaccination.

Here, we'll learn about his groundbreaking experiments and their lasting impact on medicine. Our visit will include talks and presentations about his work, together with the opportunity to see his study and laboratory.

It is a fascinating insight into the life of a remarkable man whose discoveries changed the course of medical history.

Step Back in Time at Berkeley's Historic Church

Next door is St Mary's Church, a Grade I-listed building with a history stretching back many centuries. Although the present church dates largely from the medieval period, records suggest that a church stood here as early as around AD 800.

Restoration work has revealed remarkable surviving medieval wall paintings, offering a glimpse into the artistry and religious life of an earlier age.

With three outstanding historic locations within easy walking distance, this promises to be a day full of discovery, fascinating stories and memorable experiences.

History, heritage and Healey’s—a truly distinctive day out!

FRIDAY, 10TH SEPTEMBER

Beautiful Cotswold Roads, Classic Cars and a Gala to Remember
